Paul Hills

Managing Director Paul Hills has over 12 years professional experience in the development, tuning and mapping of engines using management systems including Omex, Life Racing, Pectel, Motec, EFI, Gems, Unichip, Ecutek, HKS F-Con, AEM and Apexi Power FC.

He has worked with manufacturers such as Ford (WRC), Skoda (WRC), MG (Le Mans LMP 675, BTC and Rally) and Nissan (World Series).

He has also worked with Ford, Subaru and Mitsubishi (Group N), Formula Palmer Audi and numerous well-known private clients in the UK and worldwide.

In addition he has vast experience in tuning road cars to a performance level such as the Ford Focus RS, T190 and T230 and of course, the mighty Cosworth.

Workshop

Our Workshop Technicians have vast experience and training; they have worked on many makes and models of car and have numerous qualifications. As well as fitting performance parts they also make and install looms for after-market management systems.

With experience in designing and developing performance upgrades such as the first Focus RS front mount intercooler (dropping air charge temperature by 30 degrees c and a weight saving of 10kg), engine transplants, turbo charger conversions, etc your car couldn't be in better hands.

EA's workshop staff have worked on a wide range of performance cars and undertake anything from a simple service and routine repairs/upgrades to a full engine conversion/transplant.

Engine Building

Our engine builder has many years experience in the building of performance engines at competition level. He has built engines for the Focus WRC and Hyundai WRC to name but a couple.

He has built numerous impressive power Cosworth engines, putting out power of up to 570bhp, as well as dipping into Cosworth WRC and Duratec Rally X engines. He has also built engines for a Vauxhall 2.16v XE and a 400bhp Nissan Pulsar engine and of course our 400bhp Focus RS engine.
